Today is the first Tuesday of the month and that means it's time for Quilt Block Mania blog tour day - YAY!!

May 2022 - This month's FREE quilt block theme is Bugs with a fun colour way!

This is a fun theme... we often think of bugs as the little critters that sting and bite us... but not in our quilting realm.. we can make all things pretty... even the bugs!  

And this brilliantly coloured beauty also known as a symbol of purity is spectacular all on its own!

The "bug" I choose is a helper... it eats all those pesky mosquitos and other insects, creating a positive ecological impact which makes it so great for us & our gardens!! 

Another fun fact, it's also known as the "devil's darning needle"
