Melissa Marginet is a lifelong Manitoban and passionate quilter who credits her creative beginnings to her grandmother, Louise Marginet. Melissa’s quilting journey took off in 2001 with a Log Cabin class that sparked a lasting love for the craft.
She’s deeply involved in the quilting community, belonging several groups.
As a dedicated teacher, she emphasizes a DIY approach to quilting, encouraging students to find their own path and adapt techniques to suit their style. Melissa has authored three books on walking foot quilting, two pattern books, as well as numerous individual patterns.
