After having owned a retail location in the Upper Ottawa Valley, our family moved to my husband’s hometown of Tweed Ontario, where I now operate from my home studio aka my Happy Place!  Here, I long arm quilt on my Gammill Classic aptly named Fernanda, design patterns (as it seems the wheels are always turning) and teach this beautiful art by sharing this quilty passion with others so they can improve their skills and become confident in their choices through creative projects in our monthly membership.

My quilting adventure started as a young girl at my Mom’s side. It wasn’t until my late twenties that I rediscovered my passion for quilting, the endless creative possibilities that long arm quilting offers and how much joy I received from teaching others.  

I am grateful to have the opportunity to do something that I’m passionate about, to share that passion with the amazing people I’ve met along the way and honored to quilt for them and to be part of their journey.

As the art of quilting was passed down from my grand-mother to my mom to me and one day to my kiddos, I chose to name my business Mom and Me in order to honor my Momma in a very special way, a most amazing lady who has always been a positive role model.
