I am so grateful to be a part of our beautiful supportive community. You have so much excitement and energy in your teaching methods, you can't see me but just know I am smiling and enjoying your every word! As much as I love creating, you have helped me build more confidence in myself with your tips for finishing. Machine Quilting, free motion designs always scared me! This July I jumped in and did an all over Paisley, yikes! It turned out lovely. So very pleased with myself. Yah me!!!😁 Our community has such a positive impact for me. Mom and Me Quilt Creators Club has been a huge help for me as I am a reasonably new quilter,I have learned a lot of new techniques, so many tips , and so much encouragement and support. Manon has taught me how important it is to square as you go so when your project is complete it is so much more accurate. Also a tool I have had in my toolbox for a long time has become much more useful with Manon’s coaching “stilleto “ Our weekly online sessions and tutorials that we can watch over and over is so valuable as you always have help when you need it. This community is so supportive and encouraging and being able to see others work and share yours is very rewarding.

Belong to this group has taught me a lot. I have more confidence in taking on harder projects. I have also found that my sewing skills have improved. The biggest thing that I have learned is I have never been taught up to now to square your work after you sew a seam. I have always been taught to square your block when finished. Big improvement in my blocks. The class on selecting fabric colour was extremely helpful as well. I am so glad I joined this group. Manon is the best teacher I have ever had. Her tips are so helpful.

Since joining this group my piecing has greatly improved and I have completed projects that I can be proud of. Manon has a unique style of teaching that engages the participants. I am not sure how I found Manon Hunt and Mom and Me Quilt Co on Facebook but am so happy that I did! I started working on the Blocks of the Month and then joined the Quilt Creators Club. I am a new quilter and Manon has encouraged all of us with her projects and tutorials. I look forward to Tuesdays when we meet. She is so encouraging and it feels like we are in the room with her. She has such enthusiasm for teaching and encourages us to ask questions. After more than 30 years of stitching, I consider myself an experienced quilter. I have taken workshops with some of Canada’s elite quilters, worked in a quilt shop and even taught classes myself. Yet, I have learned at least one new hint, trick or tip from each session Manon has presented. Manon’s project-based instruction is always well explained in a simple, straightforward, easy to understand manner. Using the techniques in hands-on projects helps solidify the methods and illustrates how they can be applied to other quilts. The Mom and Me Quilting community is an extremely supportive group of quilters. They are encouraging and share their positive quilting thoughts and ideas freely. I was introduced to Manon and the Mom and Me quilting group by my daughter in law through a friend of hers. I feel very privileged to be part of this caring group.
